One of the industrial chambers of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, which has more than 3,000 members, including companies and institutions that own production or packaging lines for any food products. It also includes associate members such as banks and consulting offices.

Protecting and promoting the interests of chamber members with government agencies.

Conducting the necessary studies and presenting solutions and proposals to all government agencies and ministries to overcome obstacles to the development of the food and beverage industry in Egypt.

Opening channels of communication for all members to enter into strategic alliances.

Raising members' awareness of all the latest developments in the industry in accordance with international specifications.

Organising scientific and informational seminars and conferences.

Publishing the ‘Food World’ magazine every two months, in addition to other publications.

Enriching the Chamber's library with the latest books and scientific publications of interest to the industrial community.

Establishing an information trading unit in cooperation with the German Aid Agency to manage the ‘Smart Trade Information’ programme and begin expanding this service to include the dairy and dairy products sector and the fruit and vegetable sector.

The Chamber of Food Industries is a non-profit organisation established in 1958 to serve the interests and promote the competitiveness of the food industry sector. The Chamber is the official representative of workers in the food industry sector and continuously strives to provide services and activities that contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of its members in local and global markets.

Creating a positive legislative climate that contributes to increasing the quality and competitiveness of Egyptian food products in local and global markets.

Participating in the development of strategies and policies that promote the sector.
